PRÉSERVATION® 400 is a supplement in the form of a food preparation specially indicated for recovery in the context of regular sports practice.
PRÉSERVATION® 400 is a natural dietary supplement based on an extract from the fruit of the Opuntia ficus indica cactus.
The concentrated active extract of prickly pear TEX-OE, Opuntia mesocarp extract® is the essential component of PRÉSERVATION® 400 which induces a rapid release of stress proteins (HSPs). Intensive sports practice increases the vulnerability of the top athlete. These stresses are at the origin of cellular stress which, by dint of accumulation, hinders sports performance. The disturbances caused are essentially manifested by a loss of integrity and functionality of proteins.
High-intensity physical activity can increase oxidative stress, also in people who are not used to this type of activity.
Oxidative stress occurs when our antioxidant defence mechanisms are not sufficient to cope with the oxidising agents (free radicals) produced during high-intensity physical exercise. It is a natural process of imbalance in our body's physiological mechanisms that leads to cellular oxidation.
Faced with this stress, our body calls on cellular tools dedicated to protection and recovery: stress proteins, or Heat Shock Proteins (HSPs). These protective proteins ensure that the cells function properly.
This cellular response represents an essential defence mechanism in the event of excessive physical stress.
HSPs enable faster physical recovery, which is a fundamental step in sports performance. The organism thus suffers fewer after-effects, and consequently feels less fatigue, while significantly reducing the risk of accumulation of cellular stress induced by oxidative stress, which in the long term can prove to be accident-inducing.

DIRECTION FOR USE:
The duration of preconditioning will depend on the intensity of the effort to be made and the duration of the period of physical activity:
- Initiation phase over 7 days: 1 tablet per day
- Intensive / Competition phase: 1 tablet per day
- Maintenance Phase: 1 tablet every other day
It is advisable to take PRÉSERVATION® 400 in regular courses of several days to promote recovery over time.

Opuntia ficus indica is a plant whose fleshy, edible fruit synthesises stress proteins responsible for protecting cells exposed to environmental stress: high temperatures and intense photon radiation.
Active ingredients: TEX-OE, Opuntia mesocarp extract®, a patented extract obtained from the total extract of the mesocarp of the fruit of a variety of prickly pear (Opuntia ficus indica), corresponding to the biological activity of a standard 1416 mg of dry mesocarp.
Other ingredient: Dextrose.
